IA-AWWA’s 2026-2027 Chair, Chair-Elect, and Immediate Past-Chair are each personally challenging Annual Conference goers:

If donations on their personal fundraising page reach $250, that person will have ice cream placed on their head. At $500, we’ll add chocolate syrup and sprinkles; at $750, marshmallow fluff and candy toppings; and at $1,000, whipped cream and a cherry!

Donors have the perk of building the human sundaes during the Thursday evening Section Celebration. Assuming the appropriate fundraising milestone is reached, for each human sundae:

• $20 donors are entered into a drawing to apply the ice cream,
• $50 donors each get to drizzle syrup,
• $100 donors each get to dump a cup of candy toppings, and
• The single highest donor sprays the whipped cream and places the cherry!

So, direct your donation wisely. Whom do you want to see become a human sundae at the Section Celebration:  Christina, Matt, or Jon? Or, all three?

Funds raised will go to the Iowa Philanthropic Water Fund of the Iowa Section AWWA. With guidance from our Philanthropy Committee, funds will be distributed to programs in support of our mission to build a better Iowa through quality Water.
